Meditation

Meditation is a practice, a discipline, a relationship to yourself as well as to the great unknown. Meditation is a gateway to other states of consciousness and intelligence. There are many well-documented scientific benefits of meditation, including reducing blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and anxiety. It all starts with cultivating a relationship to the breath, developing awareness of the mind and senses, and practicing compassion. 

The practice of meditation cultivates refined states of awareness and focused attention. Through various techniques of meditation and concentration, the mind can become clear and emotions can become calmer. Jasmine teaches different modalities and meditative techniques suited for the beginner or experienced practitioner. During a meditation session, Jasmine will use specific sound current, guided meditation, breathing techniques, and mudras (hand positions), or a combination of these modalities. Meditation is an excellent practice for those experiencing overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and life challenges, as the practice not only calms the bio-system, but can also become a gateway to more esoteric and meaningful experiences of consciousness.
